Re: Worker Actions
Food and water and army and workers can be relocated from one nest to another in a colony (providing the destination nest has the space to house them), however heat must be gathered at the nest's dome and brought down into the nest by the sunbathing task. Ants cool down too fast to march from one ne...

Worker Actions
Actions can be assigned to Workers by the player. These actions have different strategic results for the player, and the game. The Worker Tasks screen would look something like the below screen. Each task has both a slider and an absolute number next to it, allowing a player to quickly alter the per...

The Interface (how the game will look and play)
A few examples of the current draft of the GUI (Graphic User Interface) of the game. Note that each unique section (Building, Login screens, etc) will all have unique images in the blue and white screen in the two panels at the sides of the GUI. These pictures are concepts, so that hasn't been shown...

Re: Stealing Larvae
An EXCELLENT idea! There are a range of attacks and worker actions that we'll be including... not documented here yet (I'm working on it!) Things like collecting heat from the dome on cold days, scouting the resource yield from particular areas, raiding an enemy's larders, raiding an enemy's forage ...

Re: Castes of ants and battle
Yup it would be entirely random, not even admin could manipulate these events, so in theory everyone has an equal chance at them. I also really like your idea of capturing queens to make new nests of that caste of ant. Very nice idea. Player 1 loses their queen in a nest while player 2 gains that qu...

Re: Castes of ants and battle
Welcome to the discussion Ztrain! Always great to see someone else that wants to have input into this exciting project! I was also toying with the idea of areas on the map that have strategic value more than the rest, so yeah plants or fruit trees in a few different locations might be a great exampl...

Re: Castes of ants and battle
Ahhh, monopoly! my fourth favourite board game. (fifth if you count uno as a board game) I like the idea too but we're definitely going to need several control points, but keeping with the idea of a center of the map we can always put a human house, to ants those things are big enough to fit severa...
